Hello everyone, It is JUN 1st today, I will give you our personal opinion in the price of steel forecast this week.
A major coal mine accident occurred in Shanxi Province last week. Many coal mines remain shut down this week, leading to insufficient coking coal supply. Coke is a primary raw material for steel, which provides some support to steel prices.
Although current steel demand is not strong, we forecast that steel prices will remain generally stable this week.
